You will learn how to splice and stack documents, how to maintain contractual obligations, how to advance your marketing and create more transactional efficiency.
NAR Code of Ethics – 4 Hrs
Meet your ethics requirement for both the New Mexico Real Estate Commission and for the National Association of REALTORS with one class! Class will cover the history of the Code of Ethics, the Code of Ethics and Pathways for Professionalism, the Code of Ethics enforcement process, procuring cause and case studies of selected articles.
Things that go Bump in the Pipe – Elective – 2 Hrs
This course focuses on the different types of plumbing and sewer pipes you may run into in a transaction. It highlights the good, bad and ugly elements of each pipe. When it comes to the known “Bad Guys” we will go over the basics of each lawsuit and the outcomes of each. The intent is for you to walk away with a little more knowledge about the plumbing in a house.
Please note, our instructor is not a plumber, builder, inspector nor an attorney. This is for educational purposes and to create awareness on these types of building materials.
Anatomy of a Listing Contract – 4 Hrs
This four-hour course is designed to provide attendees with a professional working knowledge of the NMAR Listing Contract and the disclosures required to be completed prior to acceptance of an offer to purchase and more. Forms covered include: Lead Based Paint Addendum, Lead Based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting Program Info Sheet, Property Tax Levy Estimate Info Sheet, Public Improvement District info sheet, Homeowners Association Disclosures and the most recent changes to the Listing Contract.
Anatomy of a Purchase Contract – 4 Hrs
This four-hour continuing education class is designed to provide attendees with a professional working knowledge of the NMAR Purchase Contract and the forms most likely to be used with it. Forms covered may include the Limited Service Notice, Buyer Broker Agreement, Supplemental Broker Duties, Septic System Contingency, Buyer Sale Contingency, ORW and the most recent changes to the NMAR Purchase Contract.
New Broker Business Practice – 30 Hrs – 10 Hrs Credit
Effective January 1, 2012, this must be completed within the first year of licensure. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to begin your real estate career with confidence. Real estate is a profession, and this course is designed to apply the information to your particular real estate practice. Positioning yourself with solid business process and best practices will help you succeed as a real estate professional.
New Broker Business Practices covers everything from the basics of establishing a real estate business to the successful closing of a transaction. It is presented in a format that will facilitate your learning in a systematic approach. Jump-start your real estate career by attending this class as soon as possible after receiving your license.

TCPA and Do Not Call – Elective – 2 Hrs
This class is an overview of the rules about using the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Do Not Call list. It starts the conversation on what to do to ensure you are compliant. The goal is to familiarize yourself with the diff erences of both as well as how to follow the rules of each.
At Home with Diversity – Elective – 2 Hrs
Who is it for?
The course work for the At Home with Diversity® certification is designed to enable you to work successfully with and within a rapidly changing multicultural market. It will help you to learn diversity sensitivity, how it applies to U.S. fair housing laws in your business, and ways to develop professional guidelines for working with people in the increasingly multicultural real estate market.
